This quote originated from a member claiming he wants to quit gambling each time he loses. The irony was his losses were not catastrophic. Having said it too many times without taking the necessary action, he became the boy who cried wolf. Each time he said he wants to quit gambling, he will be ridicule by other members. Members finally call him the great pretender. Fed up of being labelled as the pretender he finally said, “I say I want, not necessary mean I can...”

The addiction of gambling is strong. You want to stop gambling but you may not have the will power to do it. You don't need huge losses to stop. You may just be tired of it after awhile but you just can't walk away from the table.

The best application for this is on the table. I want to make a twin towers with pineapple chips not necessary mean I can. Setting high goals is very destructive.

This quote originated from one of our gatherings. One of the members was very depressed. He talked about how miserable life had been to him then said “Seriously I can die anytime. You just tell me when you want me to die and I will die.” Everyone responded in unison, “Go and die, now”. The miserable member said, “of course now cannot”.

Using winnings from Genting, LockOn built enough capital to start his own business. He has an uncanny ability to get 80% accuracy in baccarat. Whenever LockON goes uphill members would make an effort to join him to follow his bets. After many requests LockON finally share his methods for baccarat.

My method if betting is quite simple. There are only two things I will go for - streak or d/d(ding dong). Mostly I go for streak. Before I bet I already plan 2-3 steps ahead what would I bet if what comes out. My capital is always 3k. If kana sapu by tiger I will leave. No more no less. Actually to win 7k-10k is not a hard thing for me lar but hard thing is running away with that amount. My tactics is always the same. Flat bet 200-300 per bet test power. If beginning got luck > martingale. If beginning give eaten > flat bet gain confidence. Like rm100 per bet until recover. Martingale is needed to push hard and fast when the luck comes. Don’t need martingale much just usually 3 steps then follow by flat betting is already more than enough. 300/600/1200 ---> 3 step martingale > > > follow by 500 per bet. IF streak goes pass 5-6 step = earnings = 300+600+1200 + 500 + 500 + 500 = 3600. But usually as per my experience the streak normally stop at 3 or 4. That is why my martingale is usually 2-3 step then will flat bet. Only use martingale when you are winning never use martingale when losing. From my experience when losing flat bet is needed to recover confidence and modale. I have so many times lose until rm 500 flat bet rm100 all the way to recover and eventually winning 5-7k. To maintain bankroll is important. Never ever think that your bank account still have money so I bet big even if lose I can take from bank or fast fast recover, i can say 9 out of 10 times money will fly. Hall of Fame | Unker LDC

Unker Ldc (facebook id) or LANduChai (lowyat forum id) made GGC’s hall of fame for building twin towers with black chips (one black chip has the value of RM100). He made two stacks of black chip that were both knee’s height. When asked to share his thoughts, he said,

Newbie’s Hangout | Games to Play

Luck testing bets is another time waster. Assume that all bets are even money bets as beginner usually starts with these bets. If you have average luck that day, you will end up with losses being greater than wins by a small margin. Even if losses were to exceed wins by one, it is still a net loss. With the best scenario for average luck, you get the same amount of wins and losses. It will still end up a loosing session because of house edge.

For GGC bet size is base on your income. Set aside a certain percentage of your income for gambling. It had to be an amount that will not affect your livelihood. It should not be too small that you derive no satisfaction when you have won money which you consider peanuts. Once this money is lost wait for the next paycheck and try again.

Your bet size will be determined by how many hands you intend to play. A simple division will give you the bet size per hand. If you do not know how many hands you wish to play, start with five. Adjust it with trail and error as you go along and you will know how many chances you need to make each session a winning session. If you win spend it.
