Gambler's Gossips | Change Dealer Fallacy

Gamblers are the most superstitious group and dealers usually get the blame. Here is an example that blends superstition with the dealer.

Rule Number #2~
They would change the "He Guan" to neutralized your luck once they noticed you keep winning.
Therefore, you need to change table once the "He Guan" is changed, if and only if you luck is gone~

On a psychological level, a change in dealer causes distraction. Whenever a new dealer comes takes over the table, I used to stop betting and start analyzing. There should be no reason for me to do that because the dealer could not do magic to change the card sequence in the shoe. I must admit that I too had been influence by this change dealer fallacy.

Putting “if and only if” in bold is so hilarious. It is bad enough that the forum member had contradicted herself. Highlighting it makes it even more noticeable for others. If it is not relevant then there is no need to change. You will change ONLY if it has caused changes to you. Therefore it indicates that this change of “he guan” may or may not have any effect on you.

genting will not change dealer.... each dealer has his/her schedule resting period ....

4 tables with 5 dealers, 1 will go rest for 20 mins and other will continue work, the sequence is like that, for example..
00:00 - "A,B,C,D,E" 5 dealers start work. E will take over A, and A will go rest.
00:20 - Dealer-A came back and take over Dealer-B.
00:40 - Dealer-B came back and take over Dealer-C.
01:00 - Dealer-C came back and take over Dealer-D.
01:20 - Dealer-D came back and take over Dealer-E.
01:40 - Dealer-E came back and take over Dealer-A.
... the cycle goes on...
there is no such thing as when you win genting will change dealer....

Mr A starts work at 00:20 and takes a break at 01:40. That is 80 minutes work followed by a 20 minutes break. If people had been observing instead of gambling this rotation is obvious. Table management is the dealer’s primary job function. That involves looking around for potential bettors so that everyone gets to lay their bets before dealing commences, dealing is done in accordance to the rules and regulation of the game, and handling cash.

Assume a situation where mistakes of overpaying bets occurs after each deal since there are so many payout to be made. The loss of money for the casino would be huge. Giving a break for short work duration revitalize the dealers. This would enable dealers to put up their best concentration for 80 minutes to minimize mistakes. It is like changing drivers in long distance travel.

The replenishment, counting and recounting of chips periodically would likely be done base on a schedule so that all is accounted for and that each table is well equip at all times. These again are more built in distraction tactics which causes gamblers to fashion up more allegories. Gamblers should learn to deal with these distraction instead of creating myths out of it.
