Dealer's Tales | Sour Faced Dealers

Don’t you get piss when you see a dealer with a sour face? Damn, it’s not like we owe them a living! It won’t hurt for them to smile a little, because as customers we pay their salaries. Let’s hear their justification.

Please don't blame us. Working in a casino is very stressful. Calculation are being done mentally all the time. We need to look out for customer's post betting and avoid making mistakes.

Although we are told by the management to smile to customers, we just can do it because of the stress we are feeling. We are better off concentrating on doing a good job. It would save us form being shot by our supervisor.

Okay, this guy had appealed to my good side. I have some sympathy for them because my mental calculation sucks. Doing mental calculation is not a problem but making sure it is correct is the problem. What would you do when you see a sour faced dealer again? I think I will smile instead. These poor little newbie had not adapted to the job yet and most likely homesick to death. If they don't want to give me some tenderness, it won't hurt for me to give them mine.

But some are so cocky that you feel like slapping them on the face. They act like they had triumph over you. As if they get to keep the money you lost. That will really make your blood boil.

I am afraid I have not seen such dealers but I heard many of my friends complained about them. Now, I know what is on their minds.

I resigned in January, but the last time I went back to visit my friends, they say now they see the scams very seriously, many people got caught lately.

As to the sour face, it's not really that the dealers could help it. Sometimes when I felt happy, I would smile and try to get the numbers in Roulette with the highest bets. Most of the time, seeing those uncle and auntie talk shit all the time, you'd felt like slapping them and getting them to shut up.

As with the dealers dealing the card games, how would u feel if the customers decide to blow their cigarette smoke your way?

If you had unintentionally blown smoke their way you know they are saying good riddance to you. I am curious what is "talking shit all the time"? If I venture a guess, it would be gamblers' tendencies to brag in hindsight or blaming every thing for their losses.
