Akio Kashiwagi would play it for hours wagering a hundred or two hundred thousand per hand. He raked in $6 million within 10 hours. It was the highest win ever in baccarat.

He also holds the record the biggest single loss in the history of baccarat with a loss of $10 million. His tragic death hints at his involvement with the Yakuza.
